We’ve been working on this project indirectly for about 4 years total and directly for 2 years. That’s a lot of years. It’s heck of a lot of hours. And on paper (we have none, we have a totally virtual existence, but you know what we mean) we know we are close to that “publish and be damned” moment.
Interestingly, Clools made to “run your routine” is running our routine. That is to say, paradoxically we are actually using our own tool to manage the launch of that same tool. Yeah, we think it’s weird too. If our own tool, made to make business life easier and more efficient, prevents us from launching that tool, then we may as well give up and go and go and work for Yelp in Dublin like the rest of Europe. This is a bad road to be investigating at this point in time …
So, how do you know when that moment has arrived to say “to hell with it, we’ll launch and deal with the fallout”?
We find it comforting that as of this morning, Google Analytics still has the old logo. We get the serif issue, but we are going to miss that weird 18th century second “g”, that was old even when the first logo was created. Anyway, if Google is not perfect we guess we can be not perfect too.
Watch out ‘cos one of these days we are going to wake up and say “GO” (the ready and steady we have been saying for months now …)
